Daddy Kate continues its French growth strategy with Imprimerie Rey
The acquisition of Imprimerie Rey marks Daddy Kate’s 17th external growth transaction since its foundation and its second acquisition in 2025.
Printing group Daddy Kate is adding another acquisition to its track record. Imprimerie Rey, based in Meyzieu in the Rhône region, will join the group by integrating with Imprimerie Faurite, which was itself acquired by Daddy Kate in early 2024 and is located near Lyon.
Imprimerie Rey has a turnover of €2 million and employs ten people. The company will be integrated at the beginning of next year. It has been under court-supervised restructuring for the past year. Managing Director Laurent Aboab will remain part of the team.
“This strategic move will allow us to further strengthen our industrial footprint in Lyon, create operational synergies and continue building a solid, future-proof printing platform,” Daddy Kate says.
Two acquisitions in 2025 for Daddy Kate, both in France
This acquisition in France is the second announced by the group since the beginning of the year. In June 2025, Daddy Kate had already acquired Imprimerie Pacaud, based in Coudekerque-Branche in northern France. Production has since been transferred to Libercourt, in the Pas-de-Calais department, at the Daddy Kate France site. A sales office remains operational in Coudekerque-Branche.
With this transaction, Daddy Kate’s total number of acquisitions rises to 17, seven of which are in France. The Belgian family-owned group, founded in 1978, now employs more than 300 people across France and Belgium and generates approximately €75 million in annual revenue.
